Alto Andino Hotel in Ushuaia is one of the best, cleanest, most comfortable, friendliest and perfectly located hotels I have stayed. This was also my first time in Ushuaia. The breakfast room on the 4th floor was always well stocked and impeccably tended. The view of the surrounding mountains and the bay was enough to demand a series of photos every single morning. I would love to stay here again!

Great experience. Friendly team. Good, hearty, varied breakfast. Location was good in that it was easy to get to but just enough off the main street to avoid that hustle and bustle. Beautiful location to eat breakfast (top floor) and I used it multiple times during afternoons to read, rest, and relax. Highly recommend. Note: Tourists from USA, 4 adults, 2 rooms.

Hidden gem - loved my apartment style room (seating/kitchen area, bathroom, & separate bedroom) with nice views/light. Breakfast is included (4th floor). Super clean and comfortable. Can walk to most places in town (although its uphill from the main street :-)). There are a few good places to eat near by after full days out exploring (within 2 blocks) - pizza at Dona Lupita, Korean at Doran and Doran as well as some other good Argentinian restaurants not too much further. Alto Andino is perfect for a few days as a base to explore the region.

We really enjoyed our room at the hotel. The master suite was so big and comfortable - much nicer than the pictures on the web site. It exceeded our expectations in every way.

Alto Andino is a superb hotel in Ushuaia. The room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was big. The hotel has a breakfast and lounge area on the 4th floor with a great view of the bay. They provide a great breakfast that included scrambled eggs American style and many Argentinean delicacies. They also offer free cappuccinos and coffee on the 4th floor during the day. The receptionist was very professional and welcoming. The hotel is well located, only two blocks from San Martín Street, where all the shops are. The hotel is upscale with a comfy atmosphere.

Hotel exceptionally clean and room was perfect. Great view of Ushuaia Harbor. Hotel staff very helpful. Roof top dining area and outdoor patio have amazing views of the town. Would stay there again!!

We were very pleased with our two night stay at Alto Andino. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bedding was very comfortable. Breakfast offered many choices and was delicious. The location of the hotel is perfect. All staff we encountered were excellent but Angie was especially knowledgeable and helpful! I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

From the moment I arrived in the lobby, the Alto Andino exceeded my expectations. The front desk is staffed by friendly and helpful people. Angie and Brisa welcomed me each day and made me feel at home, and they connected me to a great car rental company (Voy). The hotel is located near a spectacular restaurant name Generals Ramos and also you can easily walk to the main docks for tours.

My stay was very lovely. Check in was easy and the staff were very helpful. The room was very nice and clean. The bed was comfortable. The view from the breakfast area on the 4th floor was amazing, as was the breakfast. Thank you for the great stay!

The hotel was amazing and very spacious and comfortable. Our room was more like an apartment than a typical hotel room. Service was great, breakfast was very good and so plentiful. Location was walking distance to the port and downtown.

In general it’s a great experience. One minor issue is the roof. When it’s raining, the sound of the rain hitting on the roof is so annoying. Hope the texture of the roof could get better.
